David Ellenberger

David is the National Wildlife Federation’s Rocky Mountain Regional Outreach Campaigns Manager based in Boulder, CO. David has more than 19 years of organizing and conservation campaign experience, most recently as the Outreach Coordinator for the Wildlife Conservation Society’s North America Program out of Bozeman, MT. Before that he was the Communications Director for Montana Conservation Voters, Roadless Forest Organizer for the Montana Roadless Working Group, and worked on numerous regional conservation campaigns with the Sierra Club including the Lewis and Clark Wild America Campaign, Grizzly Bear Ecosystems Project, and the New Hampshire Presidential Primaries. In his capacity with NWF, David manages national and regional advocacy campaigns around NWF’s initiatives to combat climate change, safeguard wildlife, and get people outdoors. Most recently, David has focused his attention on safeguarding the Clean Air Act and Public Lands protection campaigns, as well as coordinating political campaign work with the NWF Action Fund.
